Working From Abroad Tinubu: The Presidency has confirmed that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is actively engaged in the governance of Nigeria while currently in Europe.
Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, clarified that the President’s absence is temporary and in line with the previously communicated timeframe of approximately two weeks. Tinubu is expected to return after the Easter holiday.
In a statement, Onanuga said:
“The President left Paris for London over the weekend and has been in constant communication with key government officials, overseeing important national matters. This includes issuing directives to security chiefs to address emerging threats in various parts of the country.

“His return to Abuja and resumption of duties at the Aso Villa will take place after the Easter holiday. The President’s commitment to his responsibilities remains strong, and his administration continues to operate smoothly under his leadership.
“We appreciate the public’s concern and want to reassure all Nigerians that governance is ongoing without disruption.”
