Fubara summoned by administrator: The Sole Administrator of Rivers State, Vice Admiral (Rtd.) Ibok-Ete Ekwe Ibas, has summoned the suspended Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, and his Deputy, Dr. Ngozi Ordu, to appear before him for a formal inquiry into appointments made during their administration over the past two years.
In a statement issued on April 15 by the Secretary to the State Government, Prof. Ibibia Lucky Worika, Fubara has been directed to submit all relevant documents and records related to appointments, including the processes and justifications behind them.

The statement further noted that the session will also allow the suspended Governor to present a detailed explanation for why he believes he should be reinstated.
Both Fubara and Ordu are expected to appear in person on April 18 at 10:00 a.m. in the Conference Room of the Rivers State Government House in Port Harcourt.
Prof. Worika emphasized that attendance is compulsory.
This inquiry, according to the statement, is part of the Sole Administrator’s continued efforts to promote transparency, accountability, and lasting peace in the governance of Rivers State.
