Blaze erupts UK Prime: A fire erupted at UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s £2 million residence in London, prompting authorities to cordon off the entire street.
As reported by Mail Online, emergency services rushed to the northwest London property in the early hours of the morning.
The house is believed to be a rental property used by the Prime Minister.
Firefighters were dispatched shortly after 1:11 a.m., and the London Fire Brigade confirmed that the damage to the front of the home was brought under control by 1:33 a.m. The Metropolitan Police are investigating the incident, with a spokesperson stating that officers were notified at 1:35 a.m.
“Officers responded to the scene. The entrance of the property sustained damage, but no injuries were reported,” the spokesperson said.
“The cause of the fire is under investigation, and cordons remain in place as enquiries continue.”
Police have urged anyone with information to call 101, referencing CAD 441/12 May. The origin of the fire remains unknown.

A London Fire Brigade spokesperson added, “The Brigade was called at 01:11 and had the fire under control by 01:33.
“Two fire engines from Kentish Town Fire Station responded to the incident.”
The fire incident coincided with the Prime Minister’s announcement earlier today of new government measures to tighten migration policies.
During a press conference, Sir Keir cautioned that the UK risked becoming an “island of strangers” as he introduced a series of proposals aimed at curbing illegal immigration.
