N16 Million Autopsy Bill: Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Mohbad, has claimed that he paid ₦16 million to a pathologist for his son’s second autopsy.
During a TikTok live session, Aloba stated, “In all honesty, I paid the first installment of ₦16 million to the pathologist. After that, I spent nearly ₦2 million. If the pathologist comes out to deny it, then you shouldn’t believe me anymore.

Some people have said I paid ₦12 million, but I’m telling you now that it was ₦16 million.”
This statement follows an independent autopsy and forensic medical review conducted by Dr. Uwom Eze a month ago, which was unable to determine the cause of Mohbad’s death.
In June 2024, a Coroner’s Court magistrate in Ikorodu, Lagos State, authorized the engagement of a licensed pathologist for the follow-up autopsy.
