Kaduna priest regains freedom: Bandits have kidnapped the parish priest of St. Gerald’s Quasi Parish in Kurmin Rizga village, located in Kauru Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to intelligence sources who spoke with security analyst Zagazola Makama, a group of armed bandits stormed Kurmin Rizga, firing indiscriminately, and abducted Rev. Fr. James Ibrahim, whisking him away to an unknown location.
In response, troops from the Nigerian Army’s 1 Division, in collaboration with other security agencies, launched a search operation aimed at rescuing the priest safely. Efforts to capture the perpetrators and secure the priest’s release are ongoing.
